USC (3-0 MPSF, 25-0 Overall) extended it NCAA record win streak to 52-straight games with an MPSF home result over Arizona State last Saturday (Apr. 1), 11-4. The Trojans used a 6-1 fourth quarter to secure the win. Maud Megens, Hayley McKelvey, Ioanna Haralabidis, and Brigitta Games each scored two goals, while Amanda Longan collected eight saves. In a battle of 3-0 MPSF unbeatens, No. 1 USC hosts No. 2 Stanford Saturday (Apr. 8, 5 pm) on Pac-12 Networks. The two teams met once previously this year in non-conference, with USC winning 10-9 in overtime on Feb. 26 at UCI, Stanford’s lone loss to date.

STANFORD (3-0 MPSF, 16-1 Overall) Maggie Steffens and Makenzie Fischer scored three goals, while Madison Berggren added two in an 8-2 MPSF road win at rival California Sunday (Apr. 2). Gabby Stone tied a career-high 15 saves and held Cal to a season-low two goals, for an incredible .882 save percentage.

UCLA (3-0 MPSF, 14-1 Overall) won three games in Hawaii, defeating San Diego State 22-5, UH 12-4, and UCSB, 19-2 (Mar. 30-Apr. 1). Maddie Musselman accumulated eight goals, eight steals, five winning sprints, two assists, and one field block over the three wins. No. 3 UCLA, also 3-0 in MPSF play, travels to Arizona State in conference action Saturday (Apr. 8).

ARIZONA STATE (2-2 MPSF, 18-5 Overall) dropped an 11-4 conference game at No. 1 USC last Saturday, though the Sun Devils hung tough for three quarters in trailing 5-3 with eight minutes left. Bente Rogge scored twice, while Mia Rycraw picked up 11 saves. Arizona State hosts UCLA Saturday (Apr. 8) in another MPSF contest.

CALIFORNIA (1-3 MPSF, 13-6 Overall) Dora Antal scored both of Cal’s goals against Stanford (Apr. 2), putting her season total to 41 (MPSF fourth-best 2.28 GPG). Cal visits San Jose State Saturday (Apr. 8) in a conference game.

SAN JOSE STATE (0-2 MPSF, 9-14 Overall) hosts California at West Valley College on Saturday (Apr. 8). Last in action, the Spartans fell 19-3 (Mar. 25) at USC, as Carla Toha Vilanova scored a pair of goals.

CSU BAKERSFIELD (0-5 MPSF, 12-13 Overall) Kristen Jensen and Ashley Paz were the Roadrunner scorers last in action at Stanford (Mar. 25). CSUB visits San Diego State on Apr. 11.
