2018 MPSF PLAYER OF THE YEAR

TAYLOR CUENIN • # 6 • JUNIOR • MIDFIELD • UC DAVIS

UC Davis junior midfield Taylor Cuenin (Danville, CA/San Ramon Valley HS) ranks first in the MPSF in goals per game (2.85), second in total goals (37), shooting percentage (.578), and caused turnovers (22), third in points per game (3.08) and ground balls per game (2.15), and fourth in total points (40) through the regular season. Nationally, she ranks 39th in caused turnovers per game, 16th in shooting percentage, and 56th in goals per game. Cuenin was one of two players in the conference to be named both an MPSF Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week throughout the season (Apr. 2, Feb. 26). She was 11-for-16 on shots with two assists, six caused turnovers and four ground balls vs. conference opponents in leading the Aggies to their first MPSF Championship game appearance. Cuenin is the first MPSF Player of the Year from UC Davis. She is also just the third Aggie to be a three-time All-MPSF selection (Elizabeth Landry- 2015, ’14, ‘12; Katie McMahon-2008, ’06, ‘04). 2 2 20 0 01 1 18 8 8

2018 MPSF ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

MACKENZIE WALLEVAND • # 31 • FRESHMAN • MIDFIELD • FRESNO STATE

Fresno State freshman midfield Mackenzie Wallevand (Santa Margarita, CA/Mater Dei HS) is one of two first-year players this year to be named to the All-MPSF team. She is ranked fourth in the MPSF in draw controls (50), sixth in assists (10), seventh in free position goals (6), 12th in points (29), 13th in goals (19), and 18th in caused turnovers (8). Wallevand was twice named conference rookie of the week (Feb. 12, Mar. 5). She scored in 12 games, six of which were multiple-goal outings. She had four games with five or more draw controls, finishing the regular season with the third-most in single-season Fresno State history. Her 50 draw controls places her in seventh on the Bulldogs’ all-time career list after just one season. Wallevand is Fresno State’s first-ever MPSF end-of-the-year major award winner.

2018 MPSF COACH OF THE YEAR

SUZANNE ISIDOR • FIRST YEAR • UC DAVIS

UC Davis Head Coach Suzanne Isidor earns MPSF Coach of the Year honors in her first season in charge of the program. The Aggies are making their first appearance in the MPSF Championship game, while also entering the conference tournament as the No. 1 seed for the first time in program history. UC Davis leads the MPSF this year in overall win percentage (.615). Following a 1-3 start to the season, UC Davis won seven of its last nine regular season games, including both MPSF contests in which the Aggies broke open a pair of tightly contested games in the second half. Three-time all-conference selection Taylor Cuenin was named MPSF Player of the Year, the first-ever Aggie to receive the honor. The fifth head coach in UC Davis Lacrosse history, Isidor is the program’s first to earn MPSF Lacrosse Coach of the Year.
