HARLOWE STEELE OF SDSU MPSF OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

San Diego State junior midfield Harlowe Steele (Coquitlam, BC, Canada) tied the conference season-highs of five goals and five points in a 14-13 home-opening win over Arizona State (Feb. 17). She put away four of her tallies in the second half, including the game-tying strike with 3:26 remaining to help give the Aztecs their first 2-0 start since 2014. Steele had an .833 shots-on-goal percentage (5-6), and added three draw controls and two ground balls to her stat line. LAUREL MAUNDER OF FSU MPSF DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Fresno State sophomore goalkeeper Laurel Maunder (El Dorado Hills, CA) recorded a season-high 11 saves (.500) in the Bulldogs' 15-11 home-opening win over Mercer (Feb. 16). BAILEY BROWN OF SDSU MPSF ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

San Diego State freshman midfield Bailey Brown (Katy, TX) contributed four draw controls and two ground balls in the Aztecs' 14-13 home-opening victory over Arizona State (Feb. 17). Brown also caused one turnover on the afternoon, helping SDSU to its first 2-0 start since 2014. This is Brown's first career MPSF honor. AZTECS EDGE SECOND-STRAIGHT PAC-12 OPPONENT

SAN DIEGO STATE (0-0 MPSF/2-0 Overall) won its second-straight one-goal outcome over the Pac-12, 14-13 in its home opener over Arizona State (Feb. 17), and is 2-0 for the first time since 2014. Harlowe Steele matched a 2018 MPSF-High five goals and five points. Jill Haight collected a conference season-high 12 draw controls, which also ties for fourth in MPSF single-game history. Bailey Brown added four draws and two ground balls.

FRESNO STATE (0-0 MPSF/2-2 Overall) defeated Mercer in its home opener, 15-11 (Feb. 16). Tiffiny Wallace scored four goals, while Sarah Bloise added three and Mackenzie Wallevand two. On defense, Olivia Mannon caused five turnovers and Laurel Maunder collected 11 saves. Monday (Feb. 19), the Bulldogs dropped a home game to Vanderbilt, 22-12. Wallace had a hat trick, Wallevand had six draw controls, and Abigail Bergevin caused four turnovers.

UC DAVIS (0-0 MPSF/1-2 Overall) picked up its first win in the Suzanne Isidor era with a 13-6 outcome over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Feb. 18). Kate Fellner dished a conference season-high four assists, while Sorana Larson scored a hat trick. Ally Deremer collected a conference-high six ground balls. Larson also had three ground balls and six draws. Taylor Cuenin had four ground balls and caused three turnovers. Grace Richards had nine saves with a .600 save percentage.
