MPSF Tournament Seeds On The Line This Week

MPSF Men's Water Polo Release 10

CALIFORNIA (2-0 MPSF, 18-1 Overall) completed its first undefeated home season since 1992 with a 6-3 defensive effort against No. 1 USC this past Saturday (Nov. 4). Playing his final home game, Senior Kevin Le Vine recorded 18 saves, seven on the power play, while allowing just three goals (two over the final three quarters). Conor Neumann and Spencer Farrar each scored twice.

STANFORD (1-1 MPSF, 16-3 Overall) Ben Hallock recorded his 11th hat trick to lead the Cardinal to a 10th-straight win, 7-5 over UCLA in an MPSF home game (Nov. 4). Drew Holland collected eight saves, including a stop in the final minute. With 884 total, he is within five saves of the MPSF's all-time top-five. Stanford is home Thursday (Nov. 9) vs. California and Saturday (Nov. 11) vs. Santa Clara.

USC (1-1 MPSF, 22-2 Overall) won on the road Sunday (Nov. 5), 11-7 at No. 5 Pacific. McQuin Baron totaled 31 saves through the win and the visit to Cal, giving him 1,015 in his career, and 42 from the all-time conference record of 1,057 (Alex Malkis, Pacific; 2010-13).

UCLA (0-2 MPSF, 17-3 Overall) won a non-conference game at No. 11 San Jose State on Sunday (Nov. 5), 14-6, as Matt Farmer scored a game-high three goals. Alex Wolf collected 13 saves at Stanford.

PENN STATE BEHREND (0-0 MPSF, 6-12 Overall) is next in action as the five seed in the MPSF Championship Tournament, Nov. 17-19 at Stanford.
