Kyle Christensen • #10 • Senior • Forward • Denver • Layton, Utah Denver senior forward Kyle Christensen led his team with six goals and 15 points this season, both tied for fourth in the MPSF. Half of Christensen's goals were game-winners. He was named All-MPSF, earning first team honors in each of the past three seasons and second team as a freshman. As a sophomore, he earned NSCAA All-Far West Region second team honors, and made third team last season. Christensen earned MPSF Player of the Week honors three times in his career. A candidate for the Lowes Senior CLASS Award this season, Christensen is also a finalist for Academic All-American.

Sam Garza • # 8 • Freshman • Forward • Denver • Highland Village, TX Denver freshman forward Sam Garza has played in all 18 of DU's games as a freshman this season, starting 13 times. The forward's four goals and four assists are both tied for second on the Pioneers, and his 12 points are third. Three of Garza's assists came in games in which he also scored a goal, including a two-goal, one-assist effort in a 3-3 tie with San Jose State on Oct. 31. A highly-touted recruit out of high school last year, Garza was named the 2007-08 Gatorade Texas Boys' Soccer Player of the Year.

2008 MPSF Coach of the Year BOBBY MUUSS • Head Coach • 2ND YEAR • DENVER

Bobby Muuss • Head Coach • Second Year • Denver In only his second season as a head coach, Muuss led the Pioneers to their first-ever MPSF title and an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament, the team's first since 1970. Denver is 20-10-6 (.639) overall and 14-2-4 (.800) in the MPSF during Muuss' two years. Prior to joining the Pioneers, Muuss spent six seasons as the top assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Wake Forest, which won the NCAA Championship last season and is currently ranked No. 1 in the country.
