Rosario, Miller Debut Strong for Pacific

PACIFIC men hosted powerhouse California (Oct. 13), as the 200 medley relay (1.30.72) and 400 free relays (3.03) claimed victories. Mason Miller swam an individual first-place in the 50 free (20.81) and was third in the 100 fly (50.18). Pacific’s men and women also visited CSU Bakersfield (Oct. 14). The men again claimed first-place in the 200 medley relay (1.31.16) and 400 free relay (3.04.52), with Miller finishing with three relay wins. Danny Larsen recorded a pair of second-place swims in the 200 free (1.42.34) and 500 free (4.41.54), as did Miller in the 50 free and 100 fly…For the women, Kenna Ramey won the 100 fly (57.20), as did Elina Rosario in the 100 breast (1.04.63). Rosario also was on the winning 200 medley relay, and was second in the 200 breast.

SAN DIEGO Dani Taylor sprinted to back-to-back victories in the 50 free (24.36) and 100 free (52.58) in the Toreros’ home dual with UCLA last Friday (Oct. 13). Alex Hubel placed second in both butterfly events, going 2.03.93 in the 200 and 57.20 in the 100. Anna Luckenbach was second in the 500 free (5.11.48) and 1000 free (10.31.21). Mackenna Briggs and MK Clancy also picked up second-place finishes, with the former going 24.84 in the 50 free, and the latter 4:37.53 in the 400 IM.
